China Chamber of Commerce in the UK
China Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK) was established in 2001(use to be the China Enterprises Association in Britain). It now has about 140 members, which are mainly Chinese commercial and financial institutions and China invested enterprises in the UK, covering mainly finance, transportation, trade, telecommunication, energy and manufacturing sectors.
CCCUK aims to represent China invested business in the UK, protect their interests, and promote the bilateral development of trade and investment between China and the UK.
CCCUK also aims to establish close relations with British companies, trade promotion organizations, chambers of commerce, business associations and appropriate UK government departments, to organize and participate in business activities and events both in China and in the UK and to provide services to China invested enterprises in Britain to assist their establishment and future growth.
The chairmanship of CCCUK is at present held by Bank of China, while the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade acts as the secretariat of the Chamber.
